Max Braverman Bonsai Pottery

Max Braverman (1929-2004 Max operated 3 pottery studios during his life and pioneered bonsai here in America. In one of those stores, Pine Garden Pottery in Arlington, WA, (1986-1998), he produced a majority of his work. Initially trained Haruo Kaneshiro, a bonsai master, he developed a style of his own throughout his career. Known for his sublime earthy glazes and practically shaped pots, his style and works spread through the USA. He wrote book reviews on bonsai literature for "The Journal of the American Bonsai." Even after suffering a back injury during the mid 1990's, Max still produced pottery until his death in September 2004 in Everett, WA. This collection of pottery, we purchased shortly after his death an have been hiding it in a dark closet until now. They are all a limited edition and once they are gone, there will be no more.
